The Interest Qualification Agent serves a key role in the Engagement Center process by deepening conversations with individuals who have shown signs of spiritual openness or interest in growing their faith. Agents connect through digital channels—including phone, SMS, email, chat, and social media—to build trust, listen empathetically, and explore each person’s interests and readiness for next steps. T

The focus of the position is thoughtful relationship-building, careful assessment of needs, and guiding individuals toward appropriate ongoing support, such as connection with a local faith community or online mentor.This role is ideal for those who are spiritually grounded, emotionally aware, and passionate about helping people take meaningful next steps in their faith journey. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Effectively communicate the biblical message of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with varying people
  • Use digital and traditional communication platforms for ministry
  • Qualify Individuals for ministry events, local church ministries, and Bible studies
  • Develop relationships with people that are eternal, not temporal in nature–moving from the digital to the personal  
  • Communicate productively with Pastors and Church members
  • Multi-tasking between multiple platforms and ministries 
  • Develop connections at the local church level
  • Attend all department wide internal trainings
  • Meet as needed with the Lead Ministry Specialist for encouragement, training, and support
  • Develop positive testimonies from your work to share internally

This is a year-round position well adapted to student schedules, and hybrid work is available to ensure you are able to continue your ministry from anywhere.

The hourly range for this position is between $17.29 – 17.37.
