The Immediate Response Agent serves as the front line of the Engagement Team, offering fast, friendly, and spiritually grounded responses to people reaching out through phone, SMS, web chat, social media, email, online forms, etc. 

In addition to providing frontline care, the Immediate Response Agent plays a key role in identifying individuals who may be open to deeper spiritual engagement. Through thoughtful conversation and prayerful discernment, the agent invites interested contacts to connect further with our engagement team—opening the door for Bible studies, pastoral follow-up, or connection with a local church.  

What You’ll Do:

  • Engage quickly with new contacts across communication platforms (Phone, chat, email, social media, SMS, etc.). 
  • Handle simple service requests like event registrations, order processing, or donations. 
  • Offer Prayer, Bible Studies, Literature
  • Seek to connect callers to local Seventh-day Adventist Churches

Requirements:

  • Must be a fluent and effective communicator in the English language (verbally and written form: spelling, grammar, and punctuation). Ability to communicate in other languages a plus, especially Spanish.
  • Project a Christian Spirit with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Working knowledge of the internet and Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve
  • Must work weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday)
  • Must pass skills assessment

This position is open to student applicants and Adventist Church members local to Berrien Springs. Student applicants must qualify for employment under the student labor policies of Andrews University.
